A little taste of St Andrews

It felt like it was in the middle of the night as we made our way to Basel Airport. A couple of hours later we landed in a sunny Edinburgh for our 6 day Scottish golf trip. Scotland and the region of St Andrews is for sure a very special place, not only for
golfing but for its history and seaside atmosphere. During our stay we met friendly people and a special thanks to our hosts Dean & Alisa at the “Old Station” Bed & Breakfast who looked after us during the week.

We played five rounds of golf including: Eden, New Course, Castle Course, Lundin & Fairmont. A mixture of pure “Links”, “Traditional” & Modern layouts made sure that every day was a new challenge. What was really nice… every single golfer in the
group had the opportunity to hit out of a proper “pot” bunker. It can be quite scary at first when you don’t even see over the top but one gets used to it after a while 🙂

All in all we were all very tired on our last day but very happy to have experienced
such a nice week.

Scotland, we will be back!
